Karen Thadani - 2008-07-24 Karen proudly highlights a research project she was contracted to lead in March 2007 with the Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative (CIHC). An updated synthesis of Interprofessional Education and Core Competencies was completed in May of 2007 under Karen’s lead which synthesized competency literature and statements and identified continuing gaps in research and literature related to IPE competencies. The course was run by founder and creator Ramon Cuevas in conjunction with our Director, Physiotherapy, Founder, blueballoon physiotherapy, Simona DeMarchi. Ramon graduated Summa Cum Laude in Physical Therapy from the University of Chile in 1969 in Santiago, Chile, Ramon began developing the CME approach (formerly MEDEK) in 1972 and continues to evolve his therapeutic approach. In 1973, he participated in the creation of the first Early Intervention Centre in Caracas, Venezuela and has more than thirty five years of experience in the treatment of children with neurological and musculoskeletal dysfunction.
