Waterloo TeamInstructor Therapist, WaterlooSarah received her diploma in Behaviour Psychology from St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario. The program provided her with numerous placement opportunities in the field of Autism including working with special needs children and youth in school, daycare, home, and in centre environments. Sarah’s post school experience includes providing children on the autism spectrum in-home IBI/ABA therapy as a Private Instructor Therapist and one to one and/or group therapy at a Toronto private school. During group therapy, Sarah focused on academics, natural environment teaching (NET), school based behaviours, and social interactions between both children and teachers. Sarah has received extensive training in Picture Exchange Communication (PECS) and Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention. She is also a member of the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA). Sarah is excited to be working in a multi-disciplinary environment and is committed to helping each child develop to their full potential. |
