Shauna Kirsh

Shauna received her Master’s degree in Applied Disability Studies (MADS) with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Brock University and is now a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. Shauna comes to us with extensive experience in providing IBI/ABA services to children and youth with autism. Her training and experience in working with children with autism has helped her develop a strong skill set in the areas of academics, social play, leisure skills, behavior management, self-help skills and self-management. Shauna is also experienced with creating and implementing individualized IBI programs using a combination of Discrete Trial Training, Natural Environment Teaching, and Direct Instruction. In addition to her clinical experience, Shauna has provided training in ABA principles and applications. As a Behaviour Consultant at blueballoon, Shauna’s goal is to help children with autism and other developmental disabilities develop the necessary skills for successful integration at home, school and in the community.
