Occupational Therapist, TorontoDina received a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. Currently Dina is working on publishing her Occupational Therapy Master's research study in conjunction with the University of Toronto and The Hospital for Sick Children. The focus of the research is developing technology to assist children with autism to develop daily living skills. Dina was also recently part of an autism documentary, “The Worlds Within,” for her work with a 13-year old girl who is now able to type and share with the world what it is like to have autism. She has completed the workshops, “Autistic Spectrum The Bridge Between Current Research in Neurology and Its Application to Clinical Practice.”, “Strategies for success: Cognitive Orientation to occupational performance - the CO-OP approach course” and the Handwriting Without Tears “Pre-K Readiness and Writing” and “Kindergarten to grade 5”. In addition to clinic based therapy, Dina delivers integrated occupational therapy at a private school for children with diverse needs. |
