Michelle received an Honors Bachelors of Science at the University of Toronto with a double major in Psychology and Human Biology. While attending her last year of university, Michelle volunteered at The Surrey Place Centre assisting Instructor Therapists in providing Intensive behaviour intervention. After learning more about the field, Michelle knew she wanted to pursue a career in behaviour therapy with children with autism. Since then, she has completed a post-graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science at George Brown College. She has worked as an Instructor Therapist providing home-based services to children with autism and individuals who have a dual diagnosis. She has also run skill building groups at the Geneva Centre. Michelle is very passionate about her work and is dedicated to providing the best possible life for any child in need. She draws on her experiences and the help of the interdisciplinary team to achieve this common goal.
