Aurora TeamBehavioural Consultant in Supervision & bbRIDGE Coordinator, AuroraKristen is currently in her final year of the Masters of Applied Disability Studies program at Brock University. She is working towards obtaining her Board Certification as a Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Currently specializing in ABA, Kristen holds a postgraduate certification in Autism and Behavioural Science and possesses a combined honors degree in Sociology and Psychology from McMaster University. Kristen has recently developed a full-time preschool program bbRIDGE (blueballoon's Regional Integrated Developmental Group Education) at the Burlington location. The program is designed to facilitate a smooth transition from individualized programming to a school setting. Kristen has had over ten years of experience working with children with ASD and other developmental disabilities, children with physical disabilities and challenging behaviours. Working in specialized centers, schools and family homes, she has extensive experience implementing Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET) in addition to a variety of other learning methods and teaching strategies.
