Stephanie received her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences Honors Degree from McMaster University. Stephanie has always gravitated towards pediatrics and her clinical placement experience at the Hospital for Sick Children confirmed her passion. During her course work, Stephanie completed a research project through Bloorview Kids Rehab and also worked as a research assistant in the Paediatric Department at McMaster University Medical Centre for three years. From this experience she has gained great knowledge and insight in working with children with a range of disabilities. Stephanie also has experience working with children in the community as a hospital volunteer, day camp leader and a tutor. As a physiotherapist, Stephanie has completed a number of post graduate courses specific to pediatrics. Most recently, Stephanie had the opportunity to travel to Chile to complete a week long one on one tutorial training with Ramon Cuevas, creator of Cuevas Medek Exercise, and receive her CME level II certification. Stephanie has also successfully completed Creating Core Connections: Treating Core Stability in Children with Motor Challenges and Sensory Integration Intervention: Incorporating a sensory integration Frame of Reference in Pediatric Practice. Stephanie works with a wide range of clients from birth to adolescence and has worked in home, school and clinic setting. She has experience treating and working with a extensive variety of conditions including: torticollis/plagiocephaly, neuromuscular conditions, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorder, mitochondrial disorders, global developmental delay, club foot, developmental coordination disorder, gross motor delay, hypotonia. Nothing is more rewarding to Stephanie than to be part of helping her clients to achieve their goals!
