Speech-Language Pathologist, BurlingtonKaren has a Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology for the University of Western Ontario. She is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She has attended Dr. Carbone's workshop on 'Teaching Verbal Behaviour to Children with Autism and Related Disabilities. Karen has also received her certification in Hanen's “It Takes Two To Talk”, Lidcombe's “Early Intervention for Stuttering” and Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson's “Oral Placement Therapy” (OPT) Level 3. Karen’s OPT Level 3 certification allows her to provide advanced assessment and program planning for children experiencing muscle-based speech and/or feeding challenges. |
