 Aurora TeamPsychologist, AuroraErin received her Masters of Clinical Psychology from Lakehead University. Upon graduation, she returned to her home province of Newfoundland and Labrador to practice psychology at the Western Regional Health Authority. Erin worked in the Developmental Psychology program and the Mental Health and Addictions program for children, youth, and their families. In the Developmental Psychology program, Erin worked with children from birth through school entry who presented with or who was at risk of acquiring developmental delays. This included assessing and treating children who had global developmental delays, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and children born premature. During her time in the Mental Health and Additions program, Erin worked with children, adolescents, and their families who presented with a variety of concerns including behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and parenting. In addition, her role included assessment and consultation for children and adolescents admitted to the mental health unit and court-ordered youth psychological assessments. Erin is very excited to be working at blueballoon so she can again work with children, youth, and their families. |
