Theme-Based Activity Objectives:
• Develop vocabulary
• Strengthen language processing skills
• Strengthen comprehension of spoken directions
• Practice retelling stories and verbally sequencing events
• Generalize and practice articulation and grammatical targets
• Practice social communication skills within a group of peers
• Creatively express themselves through music and crafts
Activities Included:
• Teaching of relevant vocabulary
• Story/book reading
• Developing age-appropriate social skills
• Participation in games
• Table top and circle activities
Facilitated by:
Groups will be facilitated by a Speech-Language Pathologist or Communications Disorder Assistant and a Music Therapist.
Program fees:
$155/class. Fees cannot be refunded due to absence or missed session. Full amount due at the time of registration. Fees may be covered by extended health insurance under Speech-Language Pathology. As well, fees may be eligible for other funding sources.
Cancellation Policy:
Registration deposits are 100% refundable, provided that cancellation is received no later than one week prior to the first session. Deposits are non-refundable if less than one week notice is given, unless your child’s spot can be filled by another child on our waiting list (in which case, 100% will be refunded).
